Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is a leading full-service investment and wealth management firm in Canada. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wealth Management Associate.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and progressive team, providing exceptional service and support to our clients and Advisors. As a Wealth Management Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation remains up-to-date and compliant, and working with Investment Advisors to manage client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to contact clients and managing timelines and key dates for accounts.
  • Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner, addressing account transactions, requests, account documentation, and account reporting.
  • Tap into your problem-solving skills to provide proactive client service, collaborating with various departments to deliver smooth and timely solutions.
  • Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and internal and external partners.
  • Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients or prospects.
  • Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and compliant client files and documentation.
  • Utilize your social media skills to update the team's communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Support the Advisor team and clients through the wealth management process, maintaining an audit of wealth management activities and priorities.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must hold a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • A strong background in working with business applications and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High-quality time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing world-class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
