Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurturing Caregiver to join our team at Kush Basra. As a key member of our caregiving staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to infants and children in their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Bath, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting healthy habits and hygiene practices.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Establish a daily routine that includes playtime, rest periods, and educational activities, fostering social development and cognitive growth.
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns regarding the child's health, behavior, or emotional well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and organized living space.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required; further education in early childhood education or a related field is an asset.
  • Previous experience working with children is essential; training will be provided for new caregivers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some positions.
Work Setting
  • This is a full-time position, with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Relocation costs may be covered by the employer, depending on the location.
  • The work setting is in the employer's home, providing a comfortable and familiar environment for the child.
Compensation
  • The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
