Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team at Pharmascience. As a key member of our operations leadership, you will be responsible for driving process excellence and continuous improvement across our Candiac site.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives that drive significant productivity gains, cost savings, and quality enhancements. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement strategic plans, and monitor progress against objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive process excellence and continuous improvement across our operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
  2. Drive Cost Savings and Productivity Gains: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficiency gains. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve these goals.
  3. Enhance Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all operations conform to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Canadian, American, and European standards. Approve investigations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as required.
  4. Manage Teams and Resources: Supervise and motivate a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence. Plan and organize resource utilization to optimize execution of operations support and meet delivery dates for external customers.
  5. Develop and Manage Budgets: Participate in the preparation and review of budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives. Reinforce knowledge of site processes and support strategic projects as needed.
