About the Role:

Egidio is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are respected.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Administer medications, as directed, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and other physical activities.
  • Plan and implement therapeutic diets and menus, working with clients to promote healthy eating habits.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
