Today, we span four core business segments: airport lounges, airport terminal hotels, airport meet & greet services, and various airport dining concepts. In addition to our own brands, we provide airport hospitality solutions to leading airlines, alliances, and corporates worldwide.
The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for supervising a small team to manage the procurement process and execute strategic sourcing goals. This includes working collaboratively with business units to manage external suppliers for all aspects of Food/Non-Food Procurement that fulfill operational needs.
This individual oversees measurable improvements for the Procurement function, managing a spend portfolio of approximately CA$40 million annually. Persuasive leadership skills are required to support senior business executives in developing a strategic procurement plan and sourcing goal to achieve business objectives and cost savings.
The ideal candidate will manage, control, and conduct performance tracking on existing products and services, providing regular reporting and insight to internal stakeholders. A full spectrum of procurement services including PO creation, Reporting, Vendor, and Cost Management will be established and carried out.
Contracts with suppliers will be managed to ensure cost reduction, quality assurance, and long-term partnerships. Volume concessions and development purchasing strategies will be leveraged across Canada. Training will be provided to business users on procurement platforms and logistics teams to maintain stock accuracy in the procurement system.
Internal procurement systems will be managed to ensure all costs and approvals are tracked according to PPG policy. Partnerships with Operations teams will be established to effectively manage the supply of goods, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with group procurement standards and policies.
This role covers Non-F&B, OS&E, FF&E, Facilities Management, Marketing, and Repair & Maintenance purchases, procuring materials and services that meet PPG quality standards and local government and airport standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Service Centre - Procurement team to manage vendors, procurement activities, and cost management in the CheckSCM inventory system.
Monitoring supplier performance and recommending suggestions for improvement is also key. Internal and external audits over ISO certification and Food Safety Management System will be handled.
The ideal candidate will work with Operations, Stores, and Logistics to review current practices and apply appropriate changes to the ever-changing airport environment. Support and analysis will be provided to Finance leadership and the Global Procurement team to manage procurement activities in Canada in accordance with PPG Policies and procedures.
Additionally, this role involves working on ad-hoc projects and procurement assignments shared by senior leadership based on business needs.
