Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate professionals from various disciplines to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project completion within budget and scope
- Communicate effectively with the field to assess progress and address any issues
- Develop erection sequences and load lists, and coordinate shipping with other project team members
- Generate and submit daily field work reports, summarizing work activities and creating field variance reports as needed
- Coordinate equipment requirements with the Erection Supervisor, create crane plans, and procure equipment as required
- Review budgets and job cost reports to ensure costs are being allocated appropriately
- Ensure internal procedures and paperwork are being completed
- Coordinate scheduling, on-site requirements, and material procurement for the internal erection crew
- Effectively communicate project requirements with customers, on-site representatives, and other internal departments

Requirements

- Post-secondary education with an engineering or technical background is considered an asset
- 3-5 years' experience in project management is considered a definite asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- Ability to spend extended hours in the field is necessary
- Experience reading drawings is considered an asset
- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment is essential
