Electronics Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in the development of complex electronic products. The successful candidate will participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from technical feasibility to product sustainment.

About the Role
  • Debug electrical issues at all stages of design, development, and manufacturing
  • Interface with manufacturing to help reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues on new and established products
  • Participate in the selection, specification, and procurement of equipment for all aspects of design, measurement, testing, and validation
  • Circuit design, schematic entry, printed circuit board layout, prototype testing, and manufacturing support
  • Integrate and test software and hardware components for the purposes of product development, modification, or improvement
  • Perform testing and modifications to validate regulatory compliance certification
  • Contribute to the development of the company's strategy, intellectual property, quality, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Hardware Engineer or relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex electronic designs
  • Strong understanding of mixed-signal design, signal integrity principles, and EMI mitigation
  • Experience with board-level testing/troubleshooting techniques and thorough knowledge of test and measurement equipment
  • Understanding of SMT assembly process and strong rework and hand-soldering skills
  • Experience with design simulation, test automation, analysis, and CAD tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as 10GE, USB3.1, or similar
  • Direct experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
