Campus Commercial Lead for Data Center Projects

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Commercial Lead to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) team, you will be responsible for providing commercial management services for our campus operations.
Responsibilities- Deep understanding of commercial management processes from RFP documents to final payments and agreement of final accounts.
- Reports to the EPC Sub-Regional Cost Management Lead.
- Detailed estimation of projects based on local design documents.
- Agreement of estimates with General Contractors during design development and contract sum agreement.
- Pay application assessment and approval for General Contractors, equipment vendors, and project support consultants.
- Estimation and commercial agreement of all change orders.
- Drafting commercial details and supporting documents for funding requests.
- Review and agreement of procurement of subcontract packages, including sub-contract Letters of Authorization.
- Commercial review of disputes that may arise.
- Presentation of proposals to head office for purchase order approval.
- Approval of invoices for project vendors.
- Final account agreement and closeout for vendor accounts.
- Management of the Cost Management firm contracted to provide commercial support in the region.
- Assistance in the procurement of the Cost Management firm.
- Management of resources allocated to projects to ensure appropriateness in number and quality.
