We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Public transportation available for employees.
- English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
- 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
