Job Summary

Pro Vita Care Management is seeking a skilled and compassionate Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications, conducting specimen collection, and ensuring infection control. You will also provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care, monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy, and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.

Responsibilities

- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Conduct specimen collection and ensure infection control
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
- Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
- Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families

Credentials

- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
