Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Assessment Specialist to conduct inspections of residential, farm, and commercial properties, ensuring accurate and fair assessments.
Salary Range
$66,839.00 per year
Responsibilities
- Property Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of various properties to ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
- Reassessments: Participate in the reassessment of properties to verify new land rates, building modifiers, capitalization rates, market rents, expenses, and vacancy losses.
- Training and Quality Control: Assist in training other Assessment Staff and conduct quality control analysis of assessment practices.
Requirements
- Accreditation as an Assessor by the Association of Assessment Officers of Manitoba (AAOM) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of computer systems supporting assessment functions, such as MAVAS.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver's license and ability to travel within Manitoba.
