Job Description

We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team at Econo Lodge. This is a full-time position responsible for operating and maintaining laundry equipment, processing laundry tasks, and ensuring that all articles are cleaned and finished according to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines.
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals as required.
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
Work Setting:

This position is located in a hotel, motel, or resort environment.

Physical Demands:
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Estimated Salary: $25,000 - $35,000 per year.
