Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a highly sought-after role in the Process Development Department, working with scientists and associates in cell therapy manufacturing processes and characterization activities. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the development and optimization of our cutting-edge cellular therapies.

  • Assist scientists and associates in cell therapy manufacturing processes and characterization activities.
  • Document and analyze experimental data in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the company quality management system.
  • Maintain inventory and stock common lab consumables; participate in general lab activities.
Requirements & Competencies

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree program at an accredited college or university in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or related field of study.
  • The ability to work full-time for 4 months.
  • Be at least 18 years old by the start of the internship/co-op.
  • Have reliable transportation to the site in Toronto, ON, CA.
  • Possess excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in aseptic techniques, specifically with mammalian cell culture, will be considered a PLUS. Additionally, knowledge of cell biology, scale-up techniques, analytical and statistical analysis, and experience with statistical analysis software are highly valued.

This is a paid opportunity with an estimated salary of $28-$28 per hour.
