We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at API Home Renovation. As a key member of our painting crew, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary.
- Advise customers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
- Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in painting and decorating an asset.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
