Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to join our team in Canada or the US. As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a key role in planning and coordinating schedules for complex grid stabilization projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project milestones and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables, focusing on grid stabilization initiatives including FACTs and synchronous condenser installations.
  • Monitor project timelines and identify potential delays or conflicts, proactively adjusting schedules and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to maintain adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and present scheduling reports, including forecasts, variances, and project status updates to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of scheduling experience within a construction or engineering environment, with a focus on large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with other scheduling software is a plus.
  • Previous experience with FACTs or similar grid stabilization projects is an asset.
  • A strong understanding of project management principles, including risk management, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • An electrical background is preferred.
  • This is a bilingual role, requiring proficiency in English and French.
