Overview


We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive orthopedic services in southwest Saskatchewan.



About the Role


This position involves providing inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults, and specialist on-call coverage. Elective OR runs from 0800 to 1600 hours, with a call schedule of 1:3.



Salary Information


The estimated annual salary for this role is $250,000-$300,000 based on industry standards and regional cost of living.



Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Providing comprehensive orthopedic services to patients in southwest Saskatchewan;
  • Joining an experienced team at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital;
  • Participating in elective OR runs and on-call coverage;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills in orthopedic surgery.


Requirements


To be eligible for this position, candidates must:



  • Be a Fellow (or eligible for Fellowship) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Orthopedics;
  • Hold or be eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan Medical Board.


Additional Information


This is a full-time opportunity with a start date in July 2025.
