Sales Supervisor Job Description
At Canada Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team and ensuring that our retail store is running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash
- Order merchandise and ensure that inventory is well-organized
- Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly
- Knowledge of MS Outlook and other computer software
- Criminal record check
Work Environment:
- 35-40 hours per week
- Permanent position
- English language
