Job Summary


Rainy Boutique Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fabric Production Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating knitting machines to produce high-quality fabrics and products.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate batteries of knitting machines to produce knitted fabric, hosiery, garment or other products with precision and efficiency.
  • Repair minor mechanical problems such as broken or defective needles to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Notify supervisors or repairers of mechanical malfunctions to ensure prompt resolution and prevent further issues.
  • Make adjustments to machinery as needed to optimize performance and quality.
  • Patrol machines and check fabrics or products for defects and verify efficient operation to meet quality standards.
  • Operate cutting machines to trim edges of quilts with accuracy and attention to detail.


Requirements

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in the textile industry is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Familiarity with knitting machines and ability to operate them safely and efficiently.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential skills for this role.
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

  • This role requires manual labor and physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • The working environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular changes in production schedules and priorities.
  • Must be able to work independently and make decisions quickly in response to changing circumstances.


Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This includes benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
