Position Overview:
The Senior Compliance Auditor plays a crucial role in conducting audits and evaluations of Citigroup's risk management and control frameworks. This position is designed for individuals with a solid understanding of audit processes, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and achieving organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of moderate complexity, including the preparation of audit documentation, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders, and proposing actionable solutions.
- Ensure audits are completed within established timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Identify, evaluate, and suggest strategies for addressing emerging risks.
- Participate in the enhancement of audit methodologies, including the creation of automated procedures.
- Adhere to internal audit standards and regulatory requirements to provide timely assurance and influence the scope of audits.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with line management to foster a comprehensive understanding of business operations.
- Work with a degree of autonomy and minimal supervision.
- Exhibit independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for senior management and team members.
- Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring the protection of Citigroup's reputation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in auditing or compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in negotiation.
- Expertise in the application of audit technologies.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Ability to influence and manage relationships effectively.
- Capacity to maintain objectivity in a diverse workplace.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
