About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive adoption of AWS Database services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute GTM programs and initiatives to grow adoption of AWS Database services.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business objectives and develop targeted sales plays to help them achieve their goals.
  • Partner with industry teams to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the database market.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM teams to help customers overcome complex technical challenges.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in database design, implementation, and consulting.
  • 7+ years of experience managing technical resources and leading customer-facing teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in storage and database technologies.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with a strong background in database architecture, software development, and cloud computing. If you have experience with AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise, that's a plus
