Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Sweet Harbour Toy & Candy Co. Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and take customers' orders.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, reliability, team player, and positive attitude.
