About the Job

At Stripe, we are on a mission to increase the GDP of the internet. As a Product Designer for Growth and User Experience, you will play a critical role in helping us acquire, convert, and grow millions of merchants globally across our full suite of financial products.

We are a cross-functional team of engineers, scientists, marketers, designers, and product managers that deliver insights, algorithms, internal systems, and tools, as well as user-facing experiences that fuel Stripe's growth.

Your primary focus will be on designing products that help bring new users into Stripe and give them the strongest possible start. This includes working on products that bridge our marketing and dashboard experiences together, as well as key growth-related customer experiences such as onboarding, user dashboards, product recommendations, and more.

About Your Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with our marketing, brand, and dashboard teams to help new users understand Stripe's capabilities, create an account, and discover and use Stripe for the first time.
  • You will partner with engineers, data scientists, product managers, marketers, and lawyers to shape product experiences that help people start and scale their businesses on Stripe in their earliest stages of exploring our platform.
  • You will design industry-leading experiences that reduce friction for new users onboarding to Stripe.
  • You will contribute to work across the entire Growth team, including customer acquisition, conversion, and retention experiences.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and make significant contributions to our team. You should have 3+ years of relevant design experience at a tech or product-driven company and a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to design intuitive and user-friendly experiences.

  • Experience designing onboarding journeys, product demos, or other growth-related domains.
  • Ability to align a broad set of stakeholders via strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to thrive with significant autonomy and responsibility.

Benefits

As a Product Designer at Stripe, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of innovative products that have a significant impact on the world. We offer a competitive salary range of $127,400 - $191,100 per year, depending on location and experience, as well as additional benefits such as equity, company bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.

Location

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office.
