Financial Transaction Specialist

Job Role
As a key member of our Securities Lending Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of RBC Investor Services.
- Utilize your analytical skills to perform asset valuations, ensuring the integrity of loan and collateral positions.
- Manage policy adherence and risk monitoring functions to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor system records for collateral transactions to ensure balance integrity.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate actions related to Securities Lending operations.
- Manage relationships with counterparties, internal trading desks, and Securities Lending teams.
- Investigate and resolve issues, analyzing and implementing solutions as needed.
- Proactively assess client and business requirements, coordinating appropriate solutions.
- Act as a change agent, embracing and facilitating process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Review and update processes, procedures, and controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
- Collect borrower lending fees, process client revenue, and reconcile across all custody platforms.
- Support the Bank of Canada Triparty program.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in financial instruments, capital markets, and operations.
- Demonstrated strategic team player with the ability to grow and motivate others.
- Strong MS Office knowledge, with advanced usage of Word and Excel (vlookup, pivot, macro).
- Excellent process and time management skills.
