Job Role

As a key member of our Securities Lending Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of RBC Investor Services.

  • Utilize your analytical skills to perform asset valuations, ensuring the integrity of loan and collateral positions.
  • Manage policy adherence and risk monitoring functions to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitor system records for collateral transactions to ensure balance integrity.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate actions related to Securities Lending operations.
  • Manage relationships with counterparties, internal trading desks, and Securities Lending teams.
  • Investigate and resolve issues, analyzing and implementing solutions as needed.
  • Proactively assess client and business requirements, coordinating appropriate solutions.
  • Act as a change agent, embracing and facilitating process improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Review and update processes, procedures, and controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
  • Collect borrower lending fees, process client revenue, and reconcile across all custody platforms.
  • Support the Bank of Canada Triparty program.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in financial instruments, capital markets, and operations.
  • Demonstrated strategic team player with the ability to grow and motivate others.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge, with advanced usage of Word and Excel (vlookup, pivot, macro).
  • Excellent process and time management skills.
