Food Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Star House Family Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality service and food products
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decisions
- Prepare and submit reports on departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in food service management an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Basic security clearance
Our restaurant is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and high-quality food products. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be expected to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending and crouching.
