Pharmacy Manager Job Description

LMC Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at our London location. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, providing diabetes counseling, training, and education to patients, and ensuring compliance with company policies and provincial and federal pharmacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacy students
  • Work collaboratively with endocrinologists and other clinic colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Develop and implement processes to improve patient outcomes and pharmacy operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Director of Pharmacy to meet key financial and performance metrics
Requirements:
  • Interest in helping people with diabetes improve their health and wellbeing
  • OCP Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing
  • OCP Injection Certification – current certification and first aid
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of Ontario pharmacy practice and diabetes education experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Must have previous retail pharmacy experience
  • Kroll proficiency and EMR experience an asset
