Emergency Medicine Physician Job Opportunity at Saanich Peninsula Hospital
**Job Summary**
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. As a member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 18-bed emergency department.
**About the Role**
* Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult patients
* Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
* Participate in regular teaching opportunities with medical students and residents through our affiliation with the University of British Columbia's Island Medical Program
* Enjoy flexibility in scheduling and a fantastic lifestyle opportunity on beautiful Vancouver Island
**Requirements**
* Hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine certification
* Be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
* Have community hospital ED experience and be comfortable working in a single-coverage department without on-site Respiratory Therapy or ICU support
