Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team at Alberta Ltd. in a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents.
  • Offer advice and training to users to help them overcome identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Contribute to the redesign of applications and other software to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Assist with business systems, network, and Internet support to users who encounter difficulties.
  • Install equipment for employee use, ensuring proper setup of cables, operating systems, or necessary software.
Requirements:Education and Experience:

Candidate must have a college or CEGEP education and 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Aptitude for repetitive tasks and attention to detail.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a strong work ethic and adaptability.

Compensation and Benefits:
