Site Merchandising Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Site Merchandising Specialist to lead and execute high-impact site experiences that elevate customer engagement. This role focuses on planning, strategizing, and delivering essential site events—such as seasonal campaigns, new program launches, and key corporate initiatives—through collaboration with stakeholders across Merchandising, Marketing, and Technology.

The ideal candidate will use strategic vision, research, and planning to craft seamless customer experiences that drive site performance metrics, including improved navigation, conversion rates, customer loyalty, and overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage insights from web analytics, customer research, vendor data, and industry reports to enhance customer satisfaction across key categories, seasonal events, new programs, and corporate initiatives.
  • Campaign Support: Develop and implement site experiences that align with corporate marketing objectives, ensuring cohesive messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Project Coordination: Brief and coordinate with key teams to manage the end-to-end process of bringing site experiences to life, from initial strategy through to deployment.
  • Automation & Personalization: Work with technology teams to integrate data-driven automation that personalizes site experiences and fosters long-term customer loyalty.
  • A/B Testing: Drive decision-making and optimize future experiences using A/B testing and data analysis.
  • Best Practices: Research, document, and maintain best practices for digital and mobile experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts with senior leaders in Merchandising, Marketing, and Technology to align strategies.
  • Deployment Support: Assist in deployment efforts as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in web analytics and customer research with a strong understanding of digital and mobile best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Capable of developing innovative solutions and operating in an agile environment.
  • Communication: Skilled at presenting data-driven insights and site experience plans to persuade and influence stakeholders.

Salary Estimate: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
