Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant Manager

At Fairmont Banff Springs, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-the-floor supervision and support to employees to ensure that service standards are being maintained.
  • Be involved in the development of new menu items, wine lists, and cocktail menus.
  • Have a thorough understanding of day-to-day operations, including financial goals and expectations.
  • Review guest feedback and respond to any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that service essentials, steps of service, and brand standards are being followed by the team.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of previous experience as a leader in Food and Beverage, preferably in an upscale environment.
  • Pro-serve certification and POS system experience.
  • Wine knowledge at or above WSET Level 2 is an asset.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality/Hotel Administration is an asset.
  • A passion for food and wine.
  • Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20+lbs and stand and walk throughout shift.
