About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Part-time Shuttle Driver to transport primarily youth and young adults within our Surrey Artful Afternoon Program and other projects as needed. The successful candidate will be based at our Central Surrey location, with occasional needs arising from our Granville Island location throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport youth to and from Arts Umbrella facilities
  • Act as an ambassador, positively representing Arts Umbrella in interactions with schools, students, families, and partner locations
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and support scheduled maintenance activities related to transportation vehicles
  • Remain up-to-date with the Motor Vehicles Act and Arts Umbrella Transportation Policy and procedures, making ongoing suggestions for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An unrestricted Class 4 Commercial driver's license
  • Experience working with children and youth (an asset)
  • A First Aid Level One certificate (an asset)
