Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage budgets, forecasts, adjustments, cost accruals, and revenue recognition per project/job.
  • Variance Analysis: Prepare, review, and present variance analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Billings and Invoicing: Coordinate billings via unit rate payment applications, milestone billings, and/or force account submissions.
  • Team Support: Support the Operations Controller (OC) Manager, Project Manager, and Controller in their respective roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CPA Designation: Preference given to candidates with a CPA designation.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in the finance and accounting department, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing a team within finance and accounting.
