Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Converting Utility Operator to join our team at Atlantic Packaging in Hannon. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, operating forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Maintain equipment and machinery to meet company quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals.
  • Perform setup procedures efficiently and effectively.
  • Load scrap and assist with large loads as required.
  • Monitor and supply materials as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following health and safety protocols.
  • Report any issues or problems to the supervisor promptly.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures when using equipment.
  • Report any hazards or problems to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 minimum education.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
  • Current Tow Motor permit.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
