Merchandising Specialist

As a Merchandising Specialist at Acosta, you will have the opportunity to support our client's merchandising initiatives and enhance relationships with Store and Department Managers by delivering best-in-class merchandising services.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work daytime hours, having a semi-flexible work schedule, and enjoys working independently - all while having an excellent support team to call upon should the need arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of merchandising plans to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with Store and Department Managers to understand their needs and provide tailored merchandising solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of merchandising tasks, including product placement, pricing, and promotions.
  • Proactively identify issues and show initiative in solving problems to ensure seamless merchandising operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of merchandising experience, preferably in grocery retail.
  • Intermediate level and above English reading comprehension.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 50 km from your region, with paid commute time and expenses.
