We are seeking a reliable and adaptable individual to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Assistant at Alliance Trucking.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced urban environment, supporting tradespersons and other workers in various tasks. As a Heavy Equipment Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and tools, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and providing support to other team members as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport heavy equipment and tools between sites
- Ensure all equipment is properly secured and stored
- Assist tradespersons and other workers with their tasks
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have strong communication skills, be physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team. A background in mechanics or a related field would be an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Noisy work environment
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation costs covered by the employer, a criminal record check, and permanent employment opportunities.
