About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Operations Manager to join our team at G. Central Market Inc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing sales teams and overseeing store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail salespersons and sales clerks to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate the best possible deals and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records of sales, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and HR, to develop and implement company-wide initiatives and programs.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • English language proficiency.
