Description: We are seeking an exceptional instructor to teach a course on literary theory from classical times to the nineteenth century. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in English with a specialization in literary theory or related topics, as well as experience teaching literary theory or related topics at the university level.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of course content, development and administration of assignments, tests and exams, calculation and submission of grades, and holding regular office hours. They will also supervise any teaching assistants assigned to the course, if applicable.

Qualifications: A PhD in English with specialization in literary theory or related topics, experience teaching literary theory or related topics at the university level, a strong academic record, demonstrated teaching ability, and evidence of currency in subject matter are required.
