About the Role

Fastrack Glass Ltd. is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Accurate and flexible with a strong attention to detail
