We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Dentist to join our team in Killam, Alberta. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine patients' teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissue to diagnose disease, injury, decay, and plan appropriate preventive or corrective treatment.
- Provide general dental care, including direct and indirect restorations, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pedodontics.
- Monitor patient progress to identify changes or the progression of dental disease.
- Prescribe antibiotics or other medication as required.
- Refer patients to dental specialists as needed for recommended procedures.
- Supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff.
- Administer Nitrous Oxide and limited sedatives.
- Degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in Alberta.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
