We are looking for an Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd. as an ethnic food cook.
Job DescriptionThe Executive Chef will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies. They will also be in charge of preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff, and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Cuisine SpecialtiesWe are specialized in East Indian cuisine, and the ideal candidate will have experience in this field.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods. They will also need to work under pressure and manage their time effectively.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, the Executive Chef must have:
- A high school graduation certificate
- At least 7 months of experience in a similar position
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A permanent work term
- 32-40 hours of work per week
- English language proficiency
Based on industry standards and market research, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be between $45,000 and $60,000 CAD.
