Project Manager/Estimator Opportunity at itec group, Inc.

**Job Summary**

itec group, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to oversee fabrication projects from initial estimation to completion. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fabrication processes and project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Lead the estimation process for fabrication projects, analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, subcontractor quotes, and other project-related expenses.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project profitability; capturing changes to the scope of work with the customer and warranty charge backs with suppliers.

**Requirements**

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technologist/equivalent diploma.
• Minimum two years' experience in a related field would be considered an asset.
• Experience in construction project management or a manufacturing background is considered an asset.
• Knowledge or experience with PMBOK standards & best practices would be an asset.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively support multiple projects to completion; meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Experience with AutoCAD & SolidWorks is an asset.
