Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Global Network Architect to join our corporate infrastructure team at Aylo. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of our global network backbone, campus, and datacenter infrastructure.

In this role, you will work closely with other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, participate in WAN expansion projects, and help manage our MPLS backbone and Wi-Fi infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and explore new ideas/concepts that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with ISPs, datacenter providers, and hardware vendors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to team projects (70% of your week) focused on network architecture, design, and implementation
  • Work with other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Participate in WAN expansion projects to enhance network capacity and reliability
  • Help manage our MPLS backbone and optimize global BGP routing policies
  • Assist in designing and building new segments in the network as required
  • Design and maintain cloud networks to support our growing business needs
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support to ensure 24/7 network uptime
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with expertise in network architecture and design
  • Expert-level knowledge of BGP, EVPN-MPLS, and EVPN-VXLAN
  • In-depth understanding of Juniper's Junos OS and VPN/tunnel technologies (IPSec, GRE, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with MPLS technologies and multi-tenant environments
  • Deep understanding of the OSI model and network security best practices
  • Experience with Linux server administration, scripting, and radius server management
  • Positive attitude and ability to contribute to creative solutions
  • Soft skills, including collaboration, positive interaction with peer teams, and being helpful
