Business Development Leader

The Regional Director of Business Development – Western Canada will play a pivotal role in driving HELI Canada's commercial strategy for the western region of Canada from Manitoba to British Columbia. The objective of this strategic position is to solidify the company's standing as a major player in its market.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a regional growth strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Identify, evaluate, and close new business opportunities, leveraging strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Set and monitor sales goals as well as key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional programs that drive results.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, building trust and loyalty.
- Recruit, organize, manage, and develop an effective sales team, empowering them to succeed.
- Establish and oversee the sales budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and prudence.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, demonstrating academic achievement and expertise.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, ideally in the industrial vehicles sector or similar fields, showcasing industry knowledge and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, inspiring and motivating others to achieve common goals.
- Advanced competency in data analysis and mastery of CRM tools, informing data-driven decisions and optimizing processes.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapting to change and uncertainty while maintaining focus and composure.
