About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with broker partners to assess risks and make informed underwriting decisions
  • Utilize strong technical skills to ensure accurate risk assessments
  • Collaborate with the team to provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for less experienced underwriters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lines
  • Completed or pursuing CIP designation
  • Strong customer service background
  • Team-first mentality
  • Small business experience is an asset
