Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at the Delta Hotels Guelph Conference Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants, bars, and room service areas. Your primary focus will be on supervising daily operations, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage employees, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation in all restaurant, bar, and room service areas

• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention

• Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize menu offerings and pricing

• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that meet customer preferences and dietary needs

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

About the Role:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $48,000 to $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing a team of staff and handling various responsibilities simultaneously. Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices

• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
