Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud computing resources as a Cloud Systems Engineer.

This role involves designing, configuring, and overseeing all aspects of our cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

You will manage Entra ID subscriptions, including provisioning and managing subscription resources, monitoring usage, and enforcing governance policies to ensure compliance and cost control.

Responsibilities:
  • Treating, prioritizing, and responding to incidents and service requests aligned with SLAs for timely resolutions.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of company cloud resources.
  • Providing support and assistance to other teams with all cloud requests.
  • Designing, configuring, and overseeing cloud infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Managing Entra ID subscriptions and resources.
  • Monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure performance.
  • Implementing and maintaining security measures for cloud environments.
  • Developing and managing backup and recovery solutions.
  • Overseeing Microsoft 365 admin centers.
  • Implementing automation tools and scripts for streamlined cloud operations.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Cloud certifications and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in system administration.
  • At least 2 years of cloud (Azure) experience.
  • ITIL certification or proven knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Team player and mutual respect.
  • Proficient with various cloud technologies, focusing on Microsoft Entra, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Entra ID services, including computing, storage, networking, databases, security, and management tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure security best practices, identity and access management, network security, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Networking (TCP/IP stack and Fortinet), Database, Software, and Servers in the Cloud.
  • Sound knowledge of Entra ID, M365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 admin centers.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Entra ID CLI, and Entra ID Resource Manager templates.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL Server, and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
