Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect with Snowflake expertise to lead our data architecture team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Toronto, Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud data architectures using Snowflake as the primary data warehousing solution.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions that align with business objectives.">
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in cloud computing, databases, networking, and security.">
  • Migrate and modernize existing data architectures to leverage cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.">
  • Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.">
  • Provide thought leadership on data architecture principles, microservices, SOA, and related design patterns.">
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and resource allocation.">
  • Cultivate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in technical expertise, including proficiency in systems architecture, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, databases, networking, and security.">
  • Proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing, SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.">
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.">
  • Experience with Design Patterns and Best Practices, including software architecture principles, microservices, SOA, and related design patterns.">
  • Strong background in designing and implementing data architectures, ideally with experience in cloud migration and data modernization.">
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.">
  • Project management skills, including experience in leading and managing IT projects, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.">
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.">

What We Offer

Capgemini offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plans.
