Role Overview

This is a flexible full-time or part-time on-site position, allowing the Nurse Practitioner to choose their own hours and days of work. Key responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, creating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling, as permitted by the scope of practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Assessment and Diagnosis**: Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnose illnesses effectively.
  • Treatment Planning and Medication Prescribing**: Skill in creating comprehensive treatment plans and prescribing medications as needed.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Critical Thinking and Attention to Detail**: Strong critical thinking abilities and attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Fast-Paced Environment**: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Certification and Licensure**: Current Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure in Alberta.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
