Job Summary

Sofa By Fancy Ltd is seeking a skilled Upholstery Supervisor to join our team. As an Upholstery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring high-quality products, and leading a team of upholsterers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management
    • Coordinate work activities with other departments to meet production schedules.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient production processes.
    • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of upholsterers.
    • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
    • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure high-quality products by inspecting work and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Materials Management
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Set up machines and equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Communication
    • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, management, and other departments.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in upholstery or a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to distinguish between colors.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
    • Hand-eye coordination.
    • Repetitive tasks.
