Math and Science Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time math and science teacher/tutor at Oxford Learning Stoney Creek. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students to help them develop their math and science skills, and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach math and science to students at various levels
  • Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum
