The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for locating and marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, as well as cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.

Additionally, the Plumbing Specialist will be responsible for joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment, and determining piping system requirements and pipe sizing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in various locations and will be expected to work in a team environment.
